Andalusite Bricks Range
Andalusite refractory bricks, made from high alumina andalusite, offer low impurities, stable sintering, and excellent resistance to creep and thermal shock. With high strength and controlled porosity, they increase performance and service life even in extreme conditions.
Durabrick® 60A is designed for applications demanding robust thermal stability and low creep in high-temperature environments. It has high mechanical strength and provides excellent resistance to erosion and thermal spalling.
Durabrick® 60 AHS is engineered for applications involving high load and thermal shock resistance. It provides superior creep resistance combining superior thermal shock resistance with enhanced mechanical strength.
Technical Specifications
High cold crushing strength of at least 100 MPa.
High spall resistance of 30+ cycles of heating & water quenching tests.
These bricks can withstand high temperatures up to 1550°C (2822°F).
Alumina content ranges from 60% to 65%
Bulk density minimum 2.5 g/cm³, enhancing strength.
