Super- Medium Duty Fireclay Bricks
Durabrick® SD
DURABRICK® SD is a dense super-duty fireclay brick designed for general high-temperature furnace service. Its fired ceramic bond provides high mechanical strength, good thermal stability and resistance to thermal cycling and wear.
Durabrick® HFSD
DURABRICK® HFSD is a high-fired, low-porosity super-duty brick with a dense ceramic bond and high mechanical strength. The high-fired structure provides excellent hot-load stability, reduced gas penetration and strong resistance to thermal cycling.

High-duty fireclay bricks having around 40% alumina content have resistance to thermal shocks. These bricks are used in large quantities and for a wide range of applications in furnaces operated at moderate temperatures over long periods of time but subject to frequent shutdowns.
Lanexis High Duty bricks are suitable for boilers, dense brick back-up linings, air heaters, and other areas encountering moderate operating temperatures.

IS8 & IS6 bricks are used in a variety of applications and are classified by BIS as High & Medium Duty fireclay bricks.
Type 1 – Suitable for general applications, and
Type 2 – Suitable for more critical applications.
These bricks can be manufactured in Special Shapes, Side Arch, End Arch, Refractory Bottom Pouring Sets, Refractory Cupola Bricks and custom sizes.
