Refractory Monolithics
High Purity Dense Castables are designed for high-temperature applications with low impurity levels and high performance. They use high purity refractory cement as a binder and are suitable for various industrial conditions. We offer grades for gunning, casting, and trowelling.
Our Range:
High Purity Dense Castables: General-purpose for high temperatures
High Alumina Castables: Superior thermal resistance and strength
Specialized High Purity Grades: Custom compositions for specific conditions
Low Cement Castables form strong monolithic linings, possessing combinations of properties that make them ideal for many applications. We also offer Non-Wetting grades for Molten Aluminum resistance with low corundum growth.
They consist of graded dry refractory aggregates combined with a suitable hydraulic-activated bonding agent. The castable is furnished dry and forms a strong cold set upon mixing with water. They are usually poured or cast in much the same manner as ordinary concrete, but are sometimes vibrated, trowelled, rammed or tamped into place, or applied with air placement guns.
Insulating Castables are designed to conserve heat in furnaces. Lightweight yet robust, they offer low thermal conductivity, making them suitable for both hot face and backup insulating refractory linings.
Specifications:
Thermal Conductivity: Low conductivity for efficient heat retention.
Strength: Adequate strength to withstand operational stresses.
Application: Suitable for hot face and backup insulation in various furnace types.
Plastic refractories are high plasticity products used to form refractory monolithic linings in various kinds of furnaces, and are especially adaptable for making quick, economical emergency repairs.
They are easily rammed to any shape or contour. The high refractoriness, the range of compositions, and the ease with which they can be rammed into place make plastics suitable for many important applications. Plastic refractories are often highly resistant to destructive spalling.
Lantuff® HT & RT liquid mastic mortar.
Lanexis offers single component Refractory Mortars which are high strength, air setting mortars for brick joining ensuring a solid and durable construction. These mortars do not require water to be added and help in fast & efficient installations.
We offer 1,300°C & 1,500°C grades.
Specifications:
Material Composition: Fireclay and high alumina
Compatibility: Compatible with various types of insulation and fire bricks
Setting: Hydraulic setting for robust and durable joints
