The high strength Grid Bars at Lanexis are Ideal for use in sulfuric acid absorbers, coolers, and large-diameter towers, these grid bars feature an impressive 83% open area, effectively reducing pressure drop and maximizing hydraulic capacity for optimal performance in corrosive applications.
Designed for demanding chemical environments, Acid-Resistant Grid Bars from Lanexis offer exceptional resistance to corrosive acids, high temperatures, and mechanical stress.
Technical Specifications
The acid-resistant grid bars contain a minimum of 70% Al₂O₃ (Aluminum Oxide) and ZrO₂ (Zirconium Oxide), with 12-18% SiO₂ (Silicon Dioxide).
They have excellent acid resistance, with a rating of 98% or higher.
Water absorption is limited to 2% or less, making them suitable for use in harsh environments.
The bending strength of these bars is at least 1500 Kg/cm², ensuring resilience under stress.
The compressive strength is exceptionally high, exceeding 4800 Kg/cm².
The size tolerances are strict, with length variations of ±5.0 mm, width (thickness) tolerances of ±2.0 mm, and height variations of ±5.0 mm.
Warpage and deflections are minimal, with a perpendicularity tolerance of ±0.4%, ensuring precision in installation.
